Yes, I think I like Facebook. It has some groovy groups such as the Asian Cinema Appreciation Society which has it's members discussing films I've not seen before. Am inspired to keep looking out for new Asian films (not that I needed prompting).
Using Facebook today, I wondered if the main characters in the Hong Kong/Singapore romance "Turn Left, Turn Right" could have benefited from Facebook. John and Eve are two characters who meet briefly, fall in love and then completely lose track of one another. Ironically, however, they live in adjoining apartments. Throughout the course of the film, they have many near misses. Will fate offer them another chance? A light, slightly melancholy film with a message for all of us who have lost faith in love (and fate).

The characters probably wouldn't have found each other on Facebook either, or they would have found different people who had the same name!
I've decided that I like Facebook.
Most likely true about the 2 characters not finding each other. I think Facebook is good too however it, like any good thing, should be used in moderation as real life does exist (and is always better with a Muji store available).
I caught the end of this movie the other night on SBS. Didn't take long to catch on with what was going on. Interesting concept.
... and Facebook is just another excuse to spend time on a pc.
but Johnb is still my Facebook friend.
